Is Patrick Kerney retiring?

This tidbit from Mike Florio via Gregg Rosenthal of Profootballtalk.com says Seahawks defensive end Patrick Kerney held a retirement party last week.
Kerney is 33 and will likely undergo surgery this offseason. He totaled 14.5 sacks in 2007 but has struggled with injuries in the two subsequent seasons.
