Liberty coaching changes

February 1st, 2010 at Mon, 1st, 2010 at 10:06 am by Adam McFadden

Two coaching changes to mention at Liberty High:

  • Liberty boys basketball coach Jevon Green has been fired midway through his first year at the position. According to Liberty athletic director Stark Porter, Eric Larsen is the interim head coach. Porter was unable to comment on why Green was let go. The Patriots are currently 5-12.
I haven’t been able to speak with Green yet, so I won’t speculate on the motives behind the move.
  • Liberty is also looking for a new girls soccer coach, meaning Darren Tremblay will no longer be the coach after seven seasons. Tremblay led the Patriots to an overall record of 4-9-4 last season. Liberty went 4-4-4 in KingCo play and finished fourth in the league.
