In-progress state swim meet results (prelims)

Liberty, Renton, Hazen and Lindbergh have swimmers currently competing in the in the state swim meet. Here are some local results from the preliminary races. Finals are tomorrow.

  • Liberty (Nicole Lecoq, Elise Tinseth, Caitlin Doffner and Hannah Blue) tied for 11th in the 200-yard medley relay.
  • Lecoq placed fifth in the 200 freestyle.
  • Tinseth placed ninth in the 200 individual medley.
  • Hazen’s Lauren Kaufman placed second in the 50 freestyle.
  • Liberty’s Katie Tsutakawa placed eighth in the one-meter dive.
  • Hazen’s Sarah McCormick placed 24th in the same event.
  • Renton’s Tala Hild placed 23rd in the 100 butterfly.
  • Lindbergh’s Savannah Lemke placed 24th in the same event.
  • Kaufman placed first in the 100 freestyle.
  • Hazen’s Kaela Nurmi placed ninth in the same event.

There are still races going on, but that’s all the results I have for now. Check back for results from the finals tomorrow.
