Benson Hill Elementary to be in Winter Olympics commercial

Benson Hill Elementary School was used to film a TV ad that will run during the Winter Olympics.
It’s a part of the Renton Community Marketing Campaign’s ongoing effort to promote Renton as a destination to live and work, according a press release.
Benson Hill third-graders in Alesha McDonald’s class joined actor John Keister from Almost Live. It’s a 15-second spot, which will air Feb. 12-28 during KING 5 TV’s coverage of the Olympic Games.
Other Marketing Campaign members, including Valley Medical Center, Renton Technical College and others, will also have a spot that runs during the Olympics.
